Raffy Ermac is a Los Angeles-based writer, editor, video creator, and multimedia journalist.
A graduate of Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, Raffy loves to write about the intersections of culture, entertainment, and issues affecting the LGBTQ+ community.
Raffy’s writing has appeared in numerous publications (both online and print), the likes of which include The State Press, Glide Magazine, Young Hollywood, Teen.com, and Complex. Shortly after graduating college, he was hired as an editorial assistant for Pride Media (formerly Here Media, publisher of some of the world’s most well-respected LGBTQ+ brands) where he wrote news stories and long-form features for The Advocate, Out, and PRIDE. He was then named PRIDE‘s associate editor, and helped oversee, manage, and edit a team of freelance writers while writing his own daily and long-form content for the site.
He currently serves as the editor-in-chief of PRIDE, a pop culture and entertainment website for the LGBTQ+ community.
One day, Raffy wants to use his passion for storytelling to create an online space that celebrates the stories, bodies, and cultures of people who don’t get much attention in the mainstream.
Raffy’s interests include discovering new music, drawing, shopping, binge watching Sailor Moon, and listening to Rihanna’s entire discography on endless loop.
